I have a taupe 2002 PT that I would like to add some flames to and am looking for a local shop/artist that does this kind of work.

A couple of years ago another taupe PT parked next to me at Rosedale and I have been envious ever since!
The owner had added whitewalls, orange fuzzy dice, and these beautiful, shimmery orange-to-silver/gold flames. As far as I know, the flames were added aftermarket; I've never seen this color combination listed in any of the on-line lists of stock factory offerings.

I'd appreciate folk's suggestions of creative places/people to check with.

Thanks,

holly

P.S. - I am expecting delivery of a set of PT Smoothie rims any day now,
with the Baby Moon caps and stainless trim rings!

The rims themselves will come painted with a gray primer.
No more chrome to get corroded here in the Land of Salt so the
tires leak all winter.

I'd like to get the rims powder-coated with a dark, burnt orange color someday.

Leroy's customs in Coon Rapids does great work, Many of the flamed PT Cruisers you see with flames in the north metro were done there for Coon Rapids Chrysler. Hope to see you at our meets someday. A drive in movie night is scheduled for july 3rd...

Here's a local site/artist to check; Scott at www.proartcustompaint.com
He does everything from bikes to cars. Check out the flames section on his website.
